Join PA+ and What the Pho for a shared meetup this 11 July as we enjoy a Saturday night together dining under the stars as calypso music is played by a steel drum band. What better way to enjoy the weekend than to hear the music from the islands calling you. laughing

Attention paddlers! BFC will give a 10% discount off your meal if you arrive via the "blue route". smile (This evening only.) Parking is limited at BFCs, so parking offsite would be helpful.

Come relax with your PA+ and What the Pho buds and meet some new faces. Bring your boat if you'd like to paddle in the moonlight, if you can tear yourself away from the music, food, dancing, games and drinking! Barefoot Charlie's goes Caribbean with a Calypso steel drum band for the evening until 9 p.m., a raw bar and Limbo Master of Ceremonies, Harold Hill. This is a dinner event with special dishes prepared by Chef Dusty.

Cindi and Tom, thanks for your offers but it's been raining for a couple hours and no telling when it will quit. We'll plan to paddle to BFC some other time. Sorry!

The party has been moved outside because of the anticipated large crowd!! Park across the street, look for a sign and/or security guard. Do not park in BFC's parking lot. Also due to the large crowd, ordering from the dinner menu Clare posted (two posts down from this one) will enable your meal to arrive sooner than ordering from the menu. Let's go barefootin' - yeehawww!!

We're going to have wristbands so it's easier for us to know each other at BFCs. This'll help alot of the new folks know who's part of the group. Please ask for the PA+ tables when you arrive.

Everyone, your dinner menu for the evening includes "...oysters... grilled 1/2 Jerk Chickens to be served with coconut sweet potato mashers and fresh, local Balsamic-grilled veggies." To wash down the meal, Pain Killers and Pina Colada and Dreamsicle flavored Jello Shooters will be available." Sweet! :)

Who says 'no' to starting happy hour a little early? :) If anyone can arrive a little early to help secure some tables, please let me know. I'd like to have a number of tables in the same area for us and What the Pho to share.
