Trent Ganstine, Level IV Whitewater Kayak Instructor, and Vice – President of the fellow Nashville paddling group, Tennessee Scenic River Association (TSRA), offers to share his expert knowledge of wintertime paddling with PA+. Trent has 10 years of winter paddling experience. Learn how to stay safe while having fun on paddles when the temp dips low. Trent takes the guess work out of what gear to wear and not wear, special precautions, how to safety proof yourself and your boat, what foods and drinks to take.

Come early and mingle with TSRA paddlers, and stay a little after the dinner and presentation. This is the first of many more great opportunities for two groups with one common interest to get together. Combined we represent over 2,000 paddlers!

Note: Anyone can paddle in cold weather and water, provided they have the skill, experience, clothing, and gear necessary to safely paddle the body of water they choose. Everyone is welcome to attend the event, but trip inclusion is at the discretion or the organizer or trip leader.
