FOR EXPERIENCED OR NOVICE PEDALERS

Just a little pedaling experience needed, helmets required, and it's not necessary to wear the fancy outfits.

If you like to pedal at your own pace, and amongst beautiful fall foliage, then here's your chance. ~biscuits and gravy, good company, miles of pristine bike paths flowing through beautiful Autumn scenery on a sunny, breezy, 62 degree, Saturday~

Biking will begin around 9:00-10:00AM, depending on breakfast. Come early if you want to have breakfast at the Loveless Cafe (can you smell the biscuits?). (breakfast as early as 7:00AM if you're an exceptionally early riser). This Saturday should be beautiful.

For those who need a bike, right next to the Loveless is Trace BiKes, where you can rent one. But, they don't open until 10:00AM. Their phone number is ([masked].

After breakfast we need to respect the Loveless Cafe and other merchants by parking at the first parking lot on the Natchez Trace Parkway as parking spaces are limited.

Bring helmets, camera, water, tire pump if you have one, sunscreen, lunch or snacks...dress in layers. We can venture down the Trace into down town Franklin and then turn around and venture back. I'm open to suggestions at breakfast. How far and fast we go can be determined by the group. Anticipate 2-4 hours depending on the group.

Dana, this is a pedal not a paddle. (Just a play on words.) We can discuss dropoffs and pickups at breakfast. It looks like a good day for this. I'm looking forward to seeing you all there.

I need to borrow a kayak if this is a paddle and not a peddle.

Would you guys like to treat this like a paddle, with a put in and a take out? We can discuss at breakfast. By the way, any one up for breakfast at 8:00a.m.? I just stopped at the cafe, they won't reserve for groups less than 12, but that it's easy to seat at 8:00 but no reservations usually between their blackout time on weekends which includes 9 and 10 oclock.

All their jams are great! I've only been once before and it was for dinner. That was awesome too!

I haven't been to the Loveless in ages. I'm starving let's talk about their specialties! What's the best thing to order there besides biscuits?

Are any of us going in together for the family style breakfast?

Depending upon the breakfast timing and if riders need to rent a ride we will start the ride anytime between 9-10:30.

    •  Breakfast was good and the trail was beautiful. It was a great, relaxed ride.
    •  We pedaled about 16-18 miles. There were a few hills that took our breath away, But I am amazed it was not that difficult. Definately planning on doing this again. Breakfast was a nice touch, but I think I may do it in reverse next time. Ride first then Breakfast.
