Do you have used, but still good quality gear just piling up? Hate to throw it away? PA+ is invited to swap and recycle gear at Team Green's Fall Gear Swap! Bring a blanket, bring your gear, bring a picnic and bring home some new-to-you outdoor gear.

GEAR SWAP LOGISTICS
The grassy area surrounding Shelby Bottoms Nature Center will be sectioned off into four main equipment areas: Hiking/Backpacking/Camping, Water Treks, Extreme Adventures (Climbing, Horseback Riding), and Biking. Each area will be marked with a table and colored flag. Show up in the area that you feel best describes the gear you want to swap out. Lay out a blanket to set your gear on and meet other adventure seekers as they peruse. Bring a friend so you can take a break and look around as well!

While there, bring a picnic, a frisbee, your family and friends to enjoy the day. Shelby Bottoms Nature Center Naturalists will provide tours of the LEED certified Nature center complete with Green Roof and Rain Water Harvesting, and Team Green will demonstrate Backpacking Gear essentials by our booth during the event.
