Tickets are on sale now, online for $6.25 + service charge makes $7.75

As the last minute shopping and parties are winding down and the holiday is at our doorstep, take a couple of hours with your PA+ friends to indulge in the sentimental idealism of Frank Capra’s 1946 Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life.

IAWL tells the story of George Bailey, a man who hits a wall of despair and feels his life has no value when he finds his business in ruins with arrest imminent and family disgrace on the way. On Christmas Eve as he is contemplating suicide, George gets visited by guardian angel Clarence and is shown exactly how much his presence would be missed by those whose lives he has impacted and helped shape. .

We will meet at the Belcourt box office within 20 minutes of the start of the opening reel.

Cost is expected to be $6.25. There is a service charge for buying online.
Please purchase your ticket in advance, as these showings do sell out.

No problem Mary - I'm going to be working a little later than planned today so lunch would be out anyway. Still meeting in the lobby - see y'all there!

Reservations have closed because the lunch reservation has been called in. If you still want to join us for the movie but didn't RSVP, we'd love to have you join us in the Belcourt lobby.

Ask and thou shalt receive - we got 4 hours off on Thurs! I'll be there for the 2:40 show! Heck - I can even make it to lunch - have we decided where?

I'm so happy that so many will be able to make it for lunch that I'm getting weepy already.

Melissa, it looks like the 2:40s have it. I hope you can get out early - most of Nashville tends to shut down on Xmas eve.

I know I can make the 5:20 pm showing - I can make the 2:40 pm showing if we get an early dismissal from work...

I like the idea of lunch and the 2:40 show, but since we originally had suggested 4pm as the show time I'll go with the later show if it means more people can make it.

    I like 2:40 w/ lunch before

Okay, all. It looks like showtime(s) changed to 2:40 pm and 5:20 pm. Which would you all rather do? Savarino's is open until 4, so we'd have to find some place else for a bite for the 5:20 showing, and it would be lunch if we do 2:40. What do you all think?

There is a prize, ladies and gentlemen. I know someone knows the answer to this question...and there's always Google ;)

Okay, here's another question. What falls to signal George's return to the real world?

I've never done one of the big screen showings ... you'd think there was some major Rocky Horror potential. Like everyone throw flowers at the screen for "Zuzu's petals!" They might not like us for that, though.
