Reelfoot Lake State Park - Camp & Paddle
With cold weather approaching, there will be golden and bald eagles from the north that will be heading southward to Reelfoot Lake. I'd like to see our group head up to the Park for a weekend of camping, paddling, fishing and bird ... Read morewatching.

If you've never seen the birds in the wild, it's pretty awesome - plus all the cypress trees and stumps make for a cool paddling environment.

Hang Gliding
I did this years ago and have ment to go back. At lookout mountain in Chatanooga they will teach you to hang glide, or they will strap you to a pro's belly and jump off a 3000ft mountian cliff.

Trailriding/Camping Trip
Would anyone be interested in a Spring trip to the Smokies for trailriding (horseback) and camping? The challenge would be to find a place with enough rental horses, so I want to get an idea of the level of interest before I embark on the ... Read more planning.

There are TONS of places over there to camp... when I ride all day I prefer to stay in a comfortable cabin, but for those with campers (or LQ horse trailers), there are places with hookups, and camping sites as well.

Please let me know if you are interested, what your camping preference would be (shared cabins, private cabins, camper hookup, or roughing it in a tent) and if anyone has horses, let me know that too!!
