Introduction

I have had a canoe for a few years now, and never even used it last year. Need inspiration. I like outdoor activity of all kinds and have really enjoyed the hikers group, so figure it's about time I paddle along with this group.

Are you a native Nashvillian or where did you live before moving to Nashville?

I have lived here plenty long enough now to consider Tennessee my home, but in answering the question, lived in Wisconsin before moving to Nashville.

Paddlers: What do you paddle - kayak or canoe? What type of water is your first preference, second and third?

I have had for years a mohawk canoe and most of my paddling has been in it. I like calm water in streams and rivers and lakes. I now have a kiwi lobo and a wilderness systems piccolo kayak so I'm ready for more adventure.

What are your favorite things to do?

I love photography and art. I paint some, and am trying to bring myself to do much more. Outdoors is where I spend a lot of time. I garden organically. I like exploring and try to make every day an adventure.
