Come join us for a beautiful morning hike at Radnor Lake. Radnor Lake State Park provides a variety of scenic areas and is a nice moderate hike. Keep your eyes open for geese, herons, coots, and other birds as well as many species of salamanders, frogs, snakes, lizards, turtles, and mammals throughout your hike. Deer will often keep you company. Hundreds of species of wildflowers, mosses, fungi, ferns, and other lesser plants as well as trees, shrubs, and vines add to the natural ecological diversity of the area.
Some instructions:
1. You will need to enter from Granny White Pike/Otter Creek Road. DO NOT enter Radnor Lake from the Franklin Road side. This side is only a walking road.
2. There is only one parking lot on the Granny White end. Weekends tend to be busy.
3. There is no sign for Radnor Lake on Granny White Pike. Coming south on Granny White from Nashville you will turn left where Otter Creek Road intersects Granny White Pike.
